Our preschool curriculum focuses on holistic development of the child through age-appropriate educational experiences and effective teaching methods aiming for a child’s well-rounded growth.
Holistic development is a comprehensive educational approach focused on nurturing children’s physical, social, emotional and
mental abilities by creating a comfortable and safe environment for learning and growth.
It aims to develop the ‘whole child’ rather than just focusing on academic achievements.
This is one of the most important aspects of holistic development. It includes activities that promote physical health, well-being and enhancing both fine and gross motor skills. A few examples of these would be running, jumping, balancing, holding a pencil, building towers and so on.
Another important aspect of holistic development in early childhood is social development. It involves the way children interact with others and communicate in their surroundings. Social skills prepare children for cooperative learning, teamwork, effective communication, excellent leadership and successful relationships in both their personal and professional lives.
This aspect determines the ability to identify, understand and manage various emotions including happiness, sadness, anger, fear, surprise and more.
Holistic Development encourages intellectual growth through activities that stimulate curiosity, critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and a love for learning. It goes beyond traditional academic subjects and aims to develop a well-rounded and adaptable mind.
Spiritual development is all about building a moral code, strengthening their sense of right and wrong, and instilling values in them.
